Wing Leader was formed in 2011 by Simon W Parry and Mark Postlethwaite (co-owners of Red Kite) to handle the direct online sales of specialist aviation publishers such as Red Kite, Silver Kite, Air Research, Sidewinder Publishing and others. With a storage and distribution base in Newark, Nottinghamshire, the company has spare capacity to handle other small publisher's work and will actively add further imprints to its portfolio during 2012.
