We've just sent out over 400 advance orders for the Spitfire book so thanks to everyone who has bought a copy so far and also thanks for the very positive feedback!
Now, here's the important bit. As this book is just £19.95, none of the orders will have been sent with a tracking number, (unless they were part of a much larger order). The reason is simply that it's not worth charging you double the postage cost, just so you can see at which airport or sorting office your book currently is. The books only went out last week and already we've received our first overseas request for a tracking number... PLEASE be patient. Some collectors are reporting waits of up to 2 months for parcels to cross the Atlantic or to get to Australia due to the lack of commercial flights at the moment. Even UK and European deliveries are slower than normal.
So, just to be clear, please don't email us asking for a tracking number, sit back and relax and your book will arrive as soon as it possibly can in the current crisis.
We are very happy to announce that the new Spitfire MkI book is now in stock and orders will start to be despatched from today. We have decided to use a UK printer (Spectrum) for this series to help local businesses during the crisis and although more expensive, we do get faster turnaround times.
Thanks to all those people who have pre-ordered so far, we'd be very happy to hear what you think of this new book as we are aiming to produce many more in this series and can happily tweak the format if something doesn't quite work for our readers.
If in this 80th Anniversary Year of the Battle of Britain you are planning to build a model of a Spitfire MkI then you'll need our latest publication, the first in a new series of photographic reference books.
'Spitfire Mk I in RAF Service from 1936 - the Battle of Britain' is the first in our new Wingleader Photo Archive series and features over 130 wartime/pre-war photos along with 6 three-view colour profiles.

We're happy to announce that Nachtjagd Combat Archive 1944 Part 2 was delivered to our distributors today, after a slight delay on its journey across Europe.
Our distributors Bookworld are following the government guidelines so are down to one member of staff to despatch all orders. This means that for the foreseeable future, all orders placed will be sent out, but there may be an extra day or two delay depending upon the volume of orders. Of course, our overseas customers should also bear in mind the huge reduction in air travel which means air mail services will slow down as well.
Our Distributors will be closed from Monday 23rd December until Thursday 2nd January so any orders placed during this period will be despatched from the 2nd.
Thanks to all of our loyal customers for your support this year, we hope you have enjoyed our books and we look forward to producing some very exciting titles in 2020.
We have just uploaded Volumes 1 and 2 of the Wingleader Magazine printed Compendium Volumes as individual items to the website. This second volume covers the Dambusters Special Edition that was issue 5, so all those who were interested in a hard copy of that issue can now purchase it as part of Compendium 2.
